Our Ministries...

Since its founding, the mission of Scott Christian Care Center has been to help provide and teach families and individuals in Scott County proper nutrition. The Food and Household Pantry provides families and individuals help with meeting basic life necessities.

The Free Medical Clinic at Scott Christian Care Center seeks to provide basic medical services to individuals who lack any access to medical insurance. This Clinic is a free clinic and there is no co-pay, charges for exam or lab work. Also, the Clinic can provide referrals for individuals who need a specialist for certain medical issues.

Grow Appalachia is a program where individuals are taught proper techniques in gardening, food preservation, and soil treatment.

The mission of Grow Appalachia is to address the regional problems of diet-related health concerns, the limited availability of high quality fresh produce, and the generational loss of gardening knowledge.
